1. OVERVIEW
Project Aim: Place qualified Native English speakers into regional schools, colleges and universities in local towns and Hanoi capital. Tutors will assist with the development of student’s English language learning. You will have the chance to teach and experience the real Vietnam and other provincial cities and towns.
Project Duration: Positions will be for 02 - 12 months. The minimum placement will be for 03 months. Applicants requesting long term placements will be favorably considered.
Key responsibilities
- Share resources and develop teaching materials with local teachers through co-teaching and co-planning
- Become involved in community and school-based projects
- Increase local students’ English language competency and conversational skills
- Work in after-school programs, youth clubs, and library development
Training, support provide, benefit and opportunities
- Furnished comfortable accommodations at the International Guest House, including a shared kitchen and Internet capabilities
- A bicycle for local transportation
- Residential registration and working visa extension
- Offering Vietnamese lessons
- Assisted with a living allowance of 200$ per month
- Opportunities to discovery special cultural areas for free in every weeken,
- Volunteer shall be provided with sufficient and well-arranged working facilities, including a private corner in an air-conditioned room, a computer with Internet access, a shared printer and many helpful and friendly colleagues
2. FACTS
Location Hanoi and Da Nang (a city on the most beautiful coast of VN)
Duration 02-12 months
Start date Every Monday year around
Working hours 05 hour per day, 05 day per week
Food Communal meals
Accommodation CVTD volunteer house or homestay
Fee Negotiation
Note: in urgent cases, volunteer can work on Saturday and Sunday, then have compensatory time off.

3. REQUIREMENTS
- Above 18
- Native or fluent in English
- Bachelor degree in fields of social science, social work, social administration, social planning and development, international relation, public relation, or related areas…
- Strong inter-personal skills and experiences in working with people, especially children
