Description
Two volunteers needed for weka research project
Up to 10 days, commencing early June.
Location – Marlborough Sounds
Accommodation and food provided.
Tasks: Locating and catching weka for the purposes of fitting radio transmitters, and radio-tracking weka once the transmitters have been fitted.
There may also be a second opportunity to assist in mid July with re-catching the weka, so we can remove the radio transmitters off them.
